Mbui argues that there is need to review some of the clauses in the constitution touching on elections' management.

According to Mbui, the amendment should not focus on creating political positions but creating an equal playing field when it comes to elections processes.

The Wiper MP said the country's election management remains a serious issue that needs serious constitutional review.

"We must sit down as leader's and Kenyans and put in place proper election management measures that will guarantee credibility in future general election's," Mbui said.

He addressed the press at Parliament Building's in Nairobi  on Wednesday.

Mbui said the country will continue to experience conflicts prior to and after general elections unless constitutional review is done.

The Kathiani lawmaker bashed politicians criticizing the push for constitutional review saying that they should be realistic.

A section of politicians among them the Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua and NASA leader Raila Odinga have proposed for the constitutional review.

The politicians argue that there is need for review to ensure inclusivity in government.

However, Deputy President William Ruto has hit out at those calling for constitutional changes.

Ruto says the constitution is okay and there is no need for amendments to create political positions for 'election losers'.
