NASA Presidential aspirant Raila Amolo Odinga’s call for six piece voting in the forthcoming general elections has continued to attract mixed reactions from different factions.
With less than two months to the polls, leaders from parties affiliated to the alliance seem not to agree with Raila on the issue.
Wiper woman representative candidate Priscillar Munga has asked Cord Leader Raila Amolo and Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi not to advocate for six piece voting, adding that it will cost the party dearly, Munga, a contestant for the Kilifi Women rep seat, has said that Raila and other leaders of the opposition are not fair to other parties"Let Kingi [reject Joho's misguidance].
He and an ANC candidate are the only governor aspirants in the other parties. He should take this as an advantage and not mistreat us," said Munga, as quoted by Star. The aspirant also said that Wiper has an immense contribution towards Raila’s rise to power hence he should not fight to kill other parties in the region before the elections date.
"We have the numbers and can sway support to the other candidates in NASA, or even Kadu Asili, because they currently do not have an inclination to a presidential candidate," she added.
