Mwingi West MP and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka's close ally, Charles Nguna, has praised NASA leader Raila Odinga for being truthful in uniting the country.
Nguna said Raila deserves accolades for pushing unity and reconciliation among Kenyans.
He said it is rare to find politicians of Raila’s caliber in the current democracy, especially in Africa.
Nguna said the former Prime Minister has never given up on reforms despite losing presidency for four times .
“Raila Odinga deserves respect because he has established himself as a trustworthy politician who has the interest of his countrymen and women at heart,” Nguna said.
Nguna spoke in Mwingi town on Tuesday.
He said Raila’s move and decision to work with President Uhuru Kenyatta after the disputed and controversial last year’s presidential election is commendable.
Nguna said the former Prime Minister will go into history books as a selfless leader who truly cared for the people.
He asked elected leaders and Kenyans in general to support Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta as they unite the country.
“We as Kenyans must put our political differences aside and seek ways of bringing Kenyans together for sake of unity and peace,” Nguna said.
Nguna lauded Raila’s continued handshakes with former presidents saying they will foster stronger unity and peace.
The Wiper MP hit out at those castigating the ODM party leader stating that they should mind their own businesses.
Nguna pleaded with Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to walk with Raila and other leaders as they unite the country.
