Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has denied claims that the party held a crisis meeting to discuss its position in the National Super Alliance (NASA).

Addressing the media on Tuesday, Musyoka noted that the leaders had met to consult on the issues affecting the party and come up with possible solutions.

"Wiper Party NEC did not meet to discuss relationship with NASA but strategy on way forward," Kalonzo said.

Regarding his swearing-in, the former Vice President noted that he was ready to be inaugurated adding that there were some issues that needed to be solved before he took the oath.

Addressing allegations that the coalition was divided, Musyoka dismissed the claims as creations of the media.

"We need to put our house NASA in order before I take the oath. There is media war on NASA that we are divided. We are in NASA to stay and not as reported in the media," he stated.

Reports had indicated that the Wiper team was meeting to determine its future in NASA following sharp divisions that arose after Odinga's inauguration.
