NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka grapples with a headache as family members of his political buddies slug it out in the Kitui West primaries ahead of the by-election today.Maluki Kitili, a Nairobi-based businessman, will take on Francis Nyenze's widow Edith Vethi for the Wiper Party's flag.Maluki is the son of a founder member of Wiper, former Kitui Woman Representative, Nyiva Mwendwa, while Edith Vethi is the widow of a former Kalonzo ally, the late Francis Nyenze.The battle has led to creations of factions in the party with some members calling for the direct nomination of Ms. Vethi.Kalonzo has had to remain silent on who he would like to see become the next Kitui West MP lest he antagonises the factions.
