Wiper Party Patron Kalonzo Musyoka's inability to unite different leaders from Ukambani is one of his greatest political undoings.
Kalonzo is one of the most respected leaders in Kenya and seeing leaders walk out of his meetings on several accounts is likely to cost him presidency in the next general elections.
The former vice President has been unable to bring together Governor Julius Malombe and Kitui Senator David Musila so that they can wine and dine on a table of brotherhood.
Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana has also affirmed that he will not listen to Senator Muthama Johnson’s calls to fold up the Muungano party to join Wiper Party before the upcoming polls.
It will be an uphill task for Kalonzo to rise to power with such happenings at his backyard.
Musila has said that he is no longer ready to negotiate with anyone over Kitui gubernatorial race, which leaves Kalonzo with sleepless nights.
“It is a great disappointment for me and Kitui people for the party leader to start interfering with the will of the people on who they intend to elect as their next governor. We want to tell our party leader to leave the gubernatorial race to the electorate and concentrate on his presidential bid for his own good.
We will not be persuaded whatsoever, ” Musila said, as quoted by Standard. On the other side of town Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua is popularizing his party after falling out with his former boss.
