Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has urged residents in Nyamira County to register in large numbers as voters in readiness for the forthcoming general election.
The Cord co-principal who addressed supporters at Kenyenya shopping centre in Nyamira County said by participating in the elections, they will have a chance to choose good leaders who will foster development and in turn better their lives.
“Your vote is your ticket to a better and progressive leadership in Kenya, let´s all maximise on this opportunity,” he said during a mass voter registration campaign tour on Tuesday.
“I continue to call upon all Kenyans who have attained the age of majority and of sound mind, to take necessary steps and vote.”
He also made several stop-overs among them Kisii General Hospital, Omogochororo, Gachuba, Magombo, Gesima, Mosobeti, Kenyenya, Kebirigo, Ekerenyo, Mokomoni and Chepilat.
