Makueni Governor Professor Kivutha Kibwana has dismissed media reports that Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper Party does not support Raila Odinga's Tuesday sweaeing-in.Speaking to journalists in Nairobi after he attended a meeting with Raila Odinga and foreign envoys on Friday, Kibwana, who is also Wiper acting chairperson termed the media reports as false.He said that Kalonzo's party is a partner in NASA and fully supports the alliance activities and plans.Professor Kibwana said that Kalonzo has given his blessings for Raila's Tuesday coronation."We (Wiper) are a partner in NASA and I can confidently tell you that we fully support the activities being carried out in alliance contrary to some reports in some media outlets," he said.Kibwana indicated that the fight for electoral justice and end to police brutality is NASA's key agenda and that Wiper fully agrees to it.The Makueni governor said that Kalonzo could attend the Tuesday swearing-in." We have been in constant communication with our party leader and he has promised to do everything to make sure that he attends the Tuesday event," he said.Kalonzo is in Germany attending to his ailing wife Pauline Musyoka.There have been media speculations that Kalonzo's party is opposed to Raila Odinga's swearing- in and instead wants NASA to use a different strategy in its push for reforms. Raila insists that he will be sworn-in as president on Tuesday amid pressure on him to call off the planned event that has been termed treasonous.On Friday, Raila met a section of foreign envoys over his planned swearing in.
Raila maintains that he does not recognize Uhuru Kenyatta as president.The ODM leader says that he is ready to face death in his push for electoral reforms and justice.
