[Photo/Capita]Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has said the country might be heading to a civil war if President Uhuru Kenyatta will not sit down with Raila Odinga for dialogue.
Speaking on Sunday in Mombasa during a NASA Rally, the NASA co-principals said nothing will stop their push for the swearing in of Odinga, and that president Kenyatta needs to heed their call.
“This country is headed to a civil war and I am telling Uhuru: If you don’t call Raila in the next one week, things will go bad. I know am being very unpopular with this,” he said.
Musyoka and other NASA leaders further tore into the foreign envoys, saying they will not listen to their directives.
The American ambassador should first bring together their Government which is facing a shutdown. The Americans are demonstrating each day because of lack of faith in it. People worldwide are crying for freedom, truth, justice and mutual communication,” he said.
The coalition is planning to swear in Raila Odinga as the people’s president on January 30 in Nairobi.
However, their plans to host the event at the Uhuru gardens suffered a major blow, with reports indicating the ground has been booked by other parties.
