The long awaited trip of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to the country has been further delayed, reports Citizen Digital.
According to a reliable source within the opposition coalition, Kalonzo failed to secure a flight to Nairobi in time and has to wait for a little longer.
Musyoka, who was expected in the country on Monday evening, will now be absent from the burial of Kitui West MP Francis Nyenze, who is set to be laid to rest on Tuesday.
Last weekend, Musyoka reportedly postponed jetting back home after being informed that his ailing wife, Pauline, was to be moved to another facility in Germany for specialized treatment.
Opposition politics are set to dominate the burial of the former Minority Leader with Kitui Central MP Makali Mulu set to be the master of ceremony.
Understandably, President Uhuru Kenyatta will snub the funeral with sources saying he will be represented by Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.
NASA is set to hold a crucial meeting on Wednesday in Nairobi with Kalonzo expected to be among those to attend.
