Also, mass voter registration which is scheduled to start early next week will be among key issues to be discussed.

According to Kaluma, the opposition team is keen to have more people from its traditional strongholds register as voters ahead of this year’s general elections.

“In fact, we are meeting at Bomas to discuss the next course of action after the president assented to the controversial election laws. They are unnecessary for our country,” he told Citizen TV.

“We also have mass voter registration coming up next week and I am sure it will be key among our agendas. We want to ensure people from our strongholds register as voters,” he added.

Several parties allied to opposition team are set to meet for the first time with only seven months to this year’s elections
