[Photo|The Star]Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma's Bill to spilt Kenya into the People's Republic of Kenya and the Central Republic of Kenya has been termed as 'nonsensical crap' that won't see the light of the day.Political Analyst Dr Brian Mutie has said that the Bill is not only secessionist but also motivated by 'ethnic hatred and the desire to continue keeping alive the tribal animosity among Kenyan communities'."As much as I may want to agree with Kaluma's Bill, I do find an aspect of tribal discrimination and the dangerous rhetoric we saw in the run-up to 2007 general election where we were often told about the 41 versus 1 tribe! This is unacceptable and NASA or NRM is getting it wrong.""This is pure nonsense that will get them nowhere in their secession agenda," Mutie told Citizen TV breakfast programme on Tuesday.Mutie argues that even the current government isn't constituted by members of the communities who come from the 7 counties, which according to Kaluma should form the Central Republic of Kenya."I do not think if Kaluma's dream comes true, we will have any of the two geographical territories he is talking about. Secessionism should not be in informed by ethnic separatism," Mutie adds. The Bill to be tabled in parliament wants 40 out of the 47 counties to secede and form the so-called People’s Republic of Kenya. NRM has dismal numbers in both houses making it an impossibility. The only seven counties that won't be part of PRK include Nyeri, Murang’a, Kiambu, Kirinyaga, Nyandarua, Embu, and Tharaka Nithi.
