Politician John Kamama has slammed a section of opposition leaders on claims that they are planning to swear in one of their own to govern the country.

Addressing media in his office on Monday, Kamama termed such attempts as treason and called on all leaders to abide by the constitution which is supreme.

Kamama added that the presidential petitions concerning October 26 election will determine if Uhuru is sworn in.

“Nasa or National Resistance Movement should know that whatever they do there is a law unto it and we have treason which comes around when any party tries to swear in anyone without following the constitution. We have a case at the Supreme Court and we have to respect that it should be heard and determined,” said Kamama

The politician also told off religious leaders calling for a dialogue between Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.

He said politicians should always seek power through the ballot and not through talks.
