A man in Kamandura Village, Limuru Constituency in Kiambu County has appealed to the Police to come to his rescue following mysterious occurrences that have been affecting his herd of cows.
The man identified as John Njuguna revealed that some villains, whom he suspects might be his disputed relatives, have been attacking his cows, milking them and injuring others.
“I moved to this piece of land in 2008. I started off with one cow and they bred to eight which have been my source of livelihood. Some people started intruding into my homestead, cast some spell on my cows, most of them have died and I only have two remaining,” recalled Njuguna amid fury.
His efforts to get help from local administration including the area chief have been futile all along as most of them come to his farm and watch the ordeal as a ‘source of entertainment’.
“Every morning I am waking up to find my cows already milked. I have tried to keep vigil but I have not caught the perpetrators. Last night they came, broke their legs and cut off their tails. I plead with the Police to come to my rescue,” said the desperate Njuguna.
He has now called for intensified investigations into the matter which he suspects might be linked with some of his kinsmen, with whom he developed some bad blood when he moved in to the said piece of land.
