Uasin Gishu Senatorial candidate on a Jubilee ticket Prof. Margaret Kamar has cast her vote at Simotwet Primary school in Moiben sub county.
The former Eldoret East Member of Parliament arrived at the polling center around 1.30pm and it took her less than three minutes to complete the voting process.
Speaking to the press after casting her vote, Kamar praised the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for conducting what she termed as the most smooth elections.
"Things are moving very smoothly here and I am very happy. People are coming in and going out as with minimal delays," she said.Prof.
Kamar expressed confidence that she will clinch the seat with a bigger margin.
She is facing former Radio broadcaster Robert Kemei, KANU's Phillip Kiyeng and Eng. Thomas Murgor.
