Ahadi Kenya Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Stanley Kamau has dismissed claims that he will be contesting Murang'a gubernatorial seat.

Kamau has also accused media for propagating 'false' stories adding that he had no interest to venture into politics.

The anti-jigger crusader said that he is keen to continue his anti-jigger campaigns and other initiatives across the country.

“I have no interest in contesting for any political seat in Murang’a or any other part of this country,”  he told The Daily Nation.

“Its the media which is propagating false stories but i want to insist that i have a mission to accomplish in serving Kenyans at a different capacity. I do not have intentions to venture into politics," he said.

The Murang'a seat has attracted top candidates  among them Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau who launchede his manifesto few months ago.

Governor Mwangi Wa Iria has been facing resistance from a section of legislators among them Kamau and Senator Kembi Gitura.
