Minority leader in the National Assembly risks losing his parliamentary seat after praising Jubilee development record.
The Kitui West MP has been criticised from all corners and a section of elders from Ukambani has revealed that the legislature might be a funded agent out to derail the Akamba’s political agenda.
Kitui County chairman of ‘Atumi ma Thome’ group of elders, Wisman Ngovi, claimed Nyenze received millions to campaign for President Uhuru’s reelection in Ukambani.
“Nyenze appeared to have been given millions of money by Jubilee to support Uhuru Kenyatta and derail the political agenda of the Kambas who are solidly behind NASA," Ngovi said as quoted by the Star.
Addressing the press at a hotel in Kitui, the elders declared that Nyenze’s sentiments disqualifies him as a Wiper member. The ‘Atumi ma Thome’ believes that Nyenze’s acts are contrary to the wishes of the community as far as the August 8 elections and 2022 political plans are concerned.
“This is contrary to the wishes of the Kamba community which is fully behind NASA. Nyenze is expected to be in the forefront of Wiper campaigns, having been sponsored to seek re-election. But he has chosen to betray his party," Ngovi added.
