Slightly a day after emergence of an explosive audio in which a voice believed to be of Garissa Town MP Aden Duale calling for eviction of Kamba community from Garissa, a section of Kamba leaders wants the outspoken MP arrested.
The voice is heard urging youths to regroup and kill members of Kamba community who may be tempted to register as voters in the region.
Led by Kitui senator David Musila, the leaders called for apprehension and prosecution of the National Assembly Majority Leader pending investigations.
“It is very disappointing that a leader of that stature can call for eviction of Kenyans from a part of our country. He can’t deny the allegations because the voice is so clear,” he said.
‘We demand that he is arrested and prosecuted to avert violence especially when we are headed to an election. We know he is a war monger and at least this has just come out clear,” he added.
Similar calls were made by Makueni senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr who warned that Duale will carry greatest responsibility on any harm on Kamba people.
