Machakos women representative aspirant Joyce Kamene Kasimbi officially launched her bid for the position Saturday in Wamunyu.
Kamene who is set to contest on a Wiper ticket will battle it out for the Wiper party ticket with the incumbent Dr Susan Musyoka.
Maendeleo Chap Chap's Fransisca Mutinda will also contest for the seat among other aspirants such as Rita Ndunge.

In 2013 Dr Susan Musyoka won the women representative seat with 220,695 votes. Kamene came second and managed 88,695 while Mary Mutinda had 26,101 votes.
