Mount Kenya University’s (MKU) school-based programme came to a close on a high as students enjoyed an exhilarating performance by dance maestro Kanda King.
The programme, popularly known as Stima, brings together students from various parts of the country for their undergraduate and post-graduate courses during the holidays.
King led his Rhythm Band in a performance that students said was welcome at the end of the studies for the semester.
Jackie Atieno, a student at the institution, said it was a fine experience that left learners very relieved.
“We feel relieved by this musician dancing and entertaining us,” Atieno said.
“We now go home for our holidays feeling fresh despite all the rush and tired minds. It is also a pleasure to see how people make money.”
Rhythm Band is well known for live performances and the dancing styles which leave audiences excited.
