According to KANU officials in Rongai sub-county led by their chairman John Karasinga, they said Cord, should follow the constitutional procedure if they want to be seen as a good example of leaders that Kenya needs.

“The constitution stipulates very clearly the steps to be followed when the need to remove an independent institution arises, so CORD leaders should, therefore, follow the procedure instead of demonstrations,” Karasinga said on Tuesday when addressing the press at their offices in Rongai.

He added that Cord leaders showed a bad example to Kenyans and immature leadership.

The Isaac Hassan led commission have been pressurized to eject office before the next general election on the basis that Kenyans do not trust it.

The National Council of Churches of Kenya, NCCK, the opposition and recently the Law Society of Kenya, LSK have been on the forefront to have IEBC disbanded.
