Deputy President William Ruto has slammed independence party KANU, saying it's a spent force and has nothing new to offer Kenyans.
"To date, the party (KANU) has not clearly indicated it's next political path. They do not understand if they are in government or in the opposition," he said.
"They had enough time to deliver services to Kenyans, but they failed," he added.
Speaking in West Pokot County on Saturday where KANU has been trying to make in roads, Ruto challenged the residents to support the ruling Jubilee government ahead of the 2017 polls, saying the administration led by President Uhuru Kenyatta has delivered much of what it had pledged in 2013.
"We shall travel together in this journey and I am not intending to drop you on the way. I have a firm belief that the Jubilee government has fulfilled a lot of what we promised in 2013," he said.
"I urge each one of you to support the Jubilee government for quick service delivery," he added.
