Top KANU leaders have expressed their support for the opposition, saying that the ruling Jubilee government has sensed defeat in the forthcoming elections and thus seeks dubious means of getting back into office.
Speaking at Paraiywa in West Pokot where they were popularizing KANU to the locals, the leaders challenged the government to fulfill the promises they made to Kenyans, adding that it was improper for the Jubilee government to impose pro-manual and outdated systems of transmitting results to Kenyans.
The leaders, among them former Information Minister Samuel Poghisio and West pokot's senator Prof John Lonyangapuo said that the country cannot be taken back to the archaic systems used in the past regimes without care of transparency nor the people's will.
Additionally, the leaders said that what the opposition members of parliament did in parliament, causing scenes was not a bad show from leaders given that they were only but expressing their displeasure in a failed government.
