Former ruling party KANU has thanked Kenyans after prayers for retired president Daniel Moi when he was admitted in a Tel-aviv Hospital

The party, through its women congress, said prayers from Kenyans played a great role in seeing Mzee Moi recover and regain his health.

Speaking in Nakuru over the weekend, the women congress led by Lucy Kamira said the party is grateful to Kenyans for the moral support they offered Moi and his family during his sickness.

“As a party we take this opportunity to sincerely thank the country for your continued prayers for the health and life of retired President Daniel Moi,” said Kamira

Mzee Moi was last month admitted in A Telaviv hospital over what was termed as a knee problem.
