In Turi ward, Molo constituency, residents decided to adopt the infamous Kanu's mlolongo form of voting to elect members for the ward bursary committee.

This is after consensus failed to reach agreement on who was best placed to take the youth representative position.

The meeting was held at Turi centre on Friday and was led by the ward admin Mr Keter.

Reaidents were tasked with electing five members who will oversee the distribution of the ward busary.

Area MCA John Mwangi asked those elected to serve the public interest.
