Moments after Kanu resolved to support president Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election in the August polls, political analyst Herman Manyora weighed into the matter.
He said Kanu’s move to back the Jubilee government was cowardice.
According to him, a serious political party stands on its own, to the ballot box, with candidates field in all elective posts.
“I don’t think Kanu is a serious party. A serious party goes for power. That’s how we define a serious party,” said the analyst.
“You go for power, not support other people to get power, then you are not a serious party,” he added, during a television interview.
