President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta has extended the term of the National Cohesion and Integration Commission Chairman Francis Ole Kaparo by one year.
The former speaker was appointed to the position on the 12th of August 2014 along with other seven commissioners.
''I, Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the Republic of Kenya and commander in chief of the Kenya Defence Forces extend the term of the commissioners and chairperson by one year '' said the president in the gazette notice.
The commission was established under the National Cohesion and Integration Act (Act No.12 of 2008).
