Speaking from the county offices in Eldoret on Thursday, area member of county assembly Pauline Tuwei said the public has been given the opportunity to share their views on the proposed budget.

She urged members of the public to attend budget forums taking place at Kapseret Centre to give their suggestions.

“The county will be conducting public forums across the county. I urge other residents from different wards to attend,” said Tuwei.

She added that the county budget committee will consider the views of the public before it passes the budgetary allocations.

“The public has an important role to play when it comes to deciding what the county should do. They are part of the leadership,” said Tuwei.

The MCA said that Uasin Gishu government will engage the public on all other development issues.
