Postmortems into the death of three Kapsoya MCA aspirant's children has revealed that they were strangled to death before their bodies were thrown into River Nzoia in the neighbouring Trans Nzoia County.

According to the findings of homicide experts, the bodies lack air in the lungs and also had injuries and bleeding around the necks.

"This points to a possible strangulation of the children before they were dumped into the river where the bodies were found," Dr Kibet Keittany, who led the postmortems told the press at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret, Thursday.

He also said they have taken toxicology samples from the bodies which investigation officers will test further to ascertain whether the children were drugged before being strangled to death.

The three children, Clifford (6), Dan (5) and Glen (3) were reported missing on May 13 while on their way to a nearby Eldovile Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church, in Kapsoya estate, Eldoret town.

Their bodies were found about a week later floating on River Nzoia.

The uncle to the children, Enock Onsanze, is already in police custody as he is considered the prime suspect following reports that he was the last person to be seen with them before they went missing.
