Residents of Kaptembwa in Nakuru West sub-county have appealed to the Nakuru Water and Sewerage Company (NAWASCO) to supply water throughout the festive period.
Speaking on Thursday, the residents complainef that they are already experiencing water shortage and asked the water company to ensure there would be enough water supply throughout the festivities.
"From Monday we have not been receiving adequate water supply and this being a festive season I want to request Nawasco to spare us the agony," John Wamunyinyi said.
His sentiments were echoed by Nereah Ademba who said that the company would be doing a lot of injustice to them should it fail supply water Christmas period.
"We receive water thrice a week, however at this particular juncture there is so much cleaning to be done and water would definitely come in handy hence the need for its constant supply," she said.
Some residents could already be seen queing for water at the different watering points in the slum.
