Nairobi based Kariobangi Sharks thrashed relegation threatened Muhoroni Youth 7-0 in a Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match played at the Moi Sports Centre Kasarani in Nairobi, on Saturday afternoon.
Former Sony Sugar FC striker Masoud Juma scored four goals to condemn Muhoroni Youth FC to one of the heaviest defeats in the KPL history.
Duke Abuya and Ovella Ochieng were among the other scorers in the 7 goal score line. The match headed for the half time break with Sharks leading 4-0.
The results leaves Muhoroni Youth perched at the bottom of the league table with 25 points, from 31 rounds of play while Kariobangi Sharks moves to the 6th position with 46 points.
Muhoroni Youth now has a task of winning all the remaining five matches to have a mathematical chance of surviving relegation.
Kakamega Homeboyz drew 2-2 with Chemelil Sugar in another KPL match played on Saturday.
The match was staged at the Mumias Sports Complex, in Mumias.
