Kariobangi Sharks coach William Muluya and three players from the club have been nominated in various categories for the forthcoming 2017 Kenya Premier League (KPL) awards.

The awards gala will be held on the 12th of this month.

“Masoud Juma will be feted as the Golden Boot Award winner on the day, having finished the 2017 season as top scorer with 17 goals.

Goalkeeper John Oyemba, who kept 16 clean sheets in 29 matches, has been nominated in two categories: Golden Glove and Most Valuable Player while Sven Yidah will be vying for the New Player of the Year award. Head Coach William Muluya will be contesting for the Coach of the Year award,” said a report on the Club’s face book page (Kariobangi Sharks FC).

Masoud Juma has already ditched Sharks and signed for South Africa’s Cape Town City FC on a three year deal.
