Masoud Juma has signed a three year deal with South African Premier Soccer League side Cape Town City FC.Juma has been playing for Kariobangi Sharks FC as a striker and was the SPL top scorer with 17 goals, He is set to travel to Cape Town for a medical with the club who beat two other teams from Europe and North Africa to his coveted signature. The move will come as a relief for the Kenyan international who had come back home without success from trials at PSL champions, Bidvest Wits and Swedish top-tier side AIK last year. While confirming the transfer, Sharks Chairman, Robert Maoga, termed the move as a dream come true for the youngster who never gave up despite the setbacks.“The deal is as good as done. It’s only the medical that is remaining but we have finalised everything with Cape Town City.“We are happy for him because he has shown a lot of resilience after failing the trials. He has the hunger to succeed and we wish him all the best in his new home,” Maoga told SportPesa News.“It is, even more, satisfying this time because it is the club that approached us as opposed to us taking him for trials. Two other clubs approached us but Cape Town City had the best offer,” he revealed.
