Health Cabinet Secretary (CS) Sicily Kariuki on Wednesday held a fruitful discussion with seven Ministry of Health Parastatal Chief Executive Officers (CEOs).
The health Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki has taken over her new office after her appointment to the docket by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kariuki met chief executive officers from National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF), Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), Kenya Medical Supply Agency (KEMSA), Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH), Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) and National Aids Control Council (NACC) at Afya House in Nairobi on Wednesday.
The CS who recently took over from Dr. Cleopa Mailu emphasized the need to work as a team todeliver efficient,effective and consistent healthy services to Kenyans.
Kariuki urged the CEOs to leverage on Information, Communication and Technologies (ICTs) as a means of improving health services access, efficiency and quality.
