Kirinyaga gubernatorial hopeful Martha Karua has accused Opposition coalition NASA of lying to Kenyans that they have the support of more than 10 millon Kenyans, noting that it is a sign of panick within the opposition.

Speaking in Kerugoya Town on Tuesday, the Narc Kenya Party leader exuded confidence in President Uhuru Kenyatta winning his re-election bid during the forthcoming general elections.

"Kenyans have not gone to polls and it is ridiculous for Nasa to claim that it has the support of 10 million voters. They are panicking and that is why they are peddling false claims," she noted.

"Jubilee will definitely defeat Nasa during the elections," she added.

She further affirmed Narc Kenya's support for President Kenyatta during the August polls.

"We as Narc Kenya have thrown our weight behind President Kenyatta and we are confident that he shall emerge the winner," she added.

Karua, who also vied for the presidency during the 2013 general elections has been a fierce critic of the Jubilee adminstration until her entrance into the Kirinyaga politics.
