Narc-Kenya leader Martha Karua has downplayed claims that she has ditched her party and joined the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) towards the 2017 elections.
In a post on her Twitter handle, Karua said those were rumours and she is still the leader of Narc-Kenya.
This comes after it was speculated that her close working relationship with Cord during the anti-IEBC demonstrations could mean she has joined Raila Odinga and the other Cord co-principals.
"I am firmly in Narc-Kenya party," read Karua's post.
She also called on individuals to stop propagating rumours 'before knowing the facts of the issues at hand'.
Karua has said that her opposition of the Jubilee government failures and especially corruption should not be an indicator that she has joined the Cord team.
