Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua has refuted claims that she needs a cleansing ceremony to vie for Kirinyaga's top seat.
One of her twitter followers Eric Murage Kariuki posted on his twitter account that Karau needs to be cleansed for betraying the Kikuyu community before she vies for the Kirinyaga top seat.
"Martha Karua to vie Governor for Kirinyaga dissolve Narc Kenya, join Jubilee & call elders to cleanse you for betraying the Gikuyu Nation," read Kariuki's post.
The former Justice Minister Karua replied the tweet and denied that Narc will dissolve to join the Jubilee Party.
"@eric_murage not happening period!" read Martha Karua's reply tweet.
Karua is eyeing Kirinyaga's governor seat in 2017 to battle with former devolution Cs Ann Waiguru and the current governor Joseph Ndathi.
