While speaking at a political debate on Citizen television on the night of Sunday, after being asked about her eligibility to clinch the post, the two said that she is completely out of the question as far as the 2017 elections are concerned.

The two said that the race will be between the two elections and despite the lawyers persistence, she wont be fortunate to carry the victory home due to lack of political support even from her background.

Karua was in the ballot paper in the last general election alongside her running mate Augustine Lotodo, but was not able to gather enough votes to bag her the Kenya's top job and the first female head of state in not only Kenya but the Eastern part of Africa.

However, despite being seen on the opposition side she has denied her party being dissolved into the CORD fraternity, saying that the fact that she lost automatically puts her in the opposition but she will still be battling it out with the others come 2017.

However, Karua being the first woman in Kenya to vie for the head of state job would have made to be the Commander In Chief if she would have the total support of the women whose support was instead shared among the CORD, Jubilee and Amani coalitions.

With her assured participation in the next election she will be likely to face other strong leaders including President Uhuru who will be in search of his second and last term.
