Karua says that the meeting came at the right time and also demystifies claims that the Moi’s and Odinga’s are political enemies.

Karua said that that Raila and Moi have a long history and are considered as the country’s most experienced politicians.

“It was good that Raila visited Moi and is a show of how Kenyans should embrace each other despite their political differences,” she said as quoted by a local daily on Saturday.

The former MP said that Raila-Moi meeting will scale up the push for national unity and reconciliation.

She asked politician’s across the divide to remain committed in uniting the country.

On Thursday, Raila and Moi met at the former president's  Kabarak home.

Their meeting continues to elicit reactions across the political  divide with some politician’s, saying that it is a sign  that Raila will be contesting in 2022.

Political analysts also argue that the meeting between Raila and Moi is a blow to Deputy President William   Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.
