After speculations that she was likely to join other coalitions in backing another presidential aspirant, Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua has confirmed her candidature for the next general election.
During a live interview with Citizen TV, the former Justice Minister said that she had no intentions of 'chickening out' and that will battle it to the very end.
She also said that her party was preparing to vie for not only the presidency but all the other posts nationwide.
Concerning the Jubilee merger, Karua said that the Jubilee people were free to do anything they want but not trying to force other parties into their merger.
This comes at a time when the President has been on the receiving end from the opposition parties after he called upon them to come together and form fewer but stronger parties which according to him would go a long way into eradicating negative ethnicity.
Ms Karua also said that her party has not talked to any other party about a coalition but if approached she would have to consult with the members before deciding.
Karua disclosed that at the moment, her her party was busy strengthening itself and bringing in more members.
Karua vied for presidency in the last general polls but did not bag enough votes to take her to State House.
