Speaking Tuesday on Citizen TV’s Cheche Live show, Karua said Narc-K made several proposals to President Uhuru Kenyatta's government on how to deal with the vice but it turned a deaf ear to their suggestions.

"I think they are good on their statements and short on their actions," she said referring to the Jubilee administration.

"If you look at the statement Narc Kenya issued regarding the Afya House scandal, and since the President had appeared helpless and asked for what he could do during a State House summit on integrity, we wrote a lot of proposals on what he could do to save the loyal citizens of this country," she said.

The 2013 presidential candidate said the government has so far shown reluctance on dealing with corruption and that she will not tire on giving them direction on protecting public resources.

"They have so far demonstrated shyness in dealing with the perpetrators of corruption and I said the other day that I will forever fight corruption," she said.

"We are calling upon them to up their game and if they fail to deliver to Kenyans then they are considered illegitimate," she added the former Gichugu MP.

Karua also said the party branches will choose their preferred presidential candidate, dismissing the claims that she would back President Uhuru Kenyatta's 2017 re-election.
