Narc Kenya Party Leader and Kirinyaga gubernatorial candidate, Martha Karua, has said that she will mobilize votes for President Uhuru Kenyatta just like she did for President Mwai Kibaki in 2017.
Speaking on Saturday on the UhuRuto express caravan, Karua called on residents to turn out in large numbers and ensure President Uhuru Kenyatta retains his seat.
“On the polling day, come out in large numbers and vote for President Kenyatta. After casting your vote, go back to the villages and help those who haven’t voted yet to come and do so,” said Martha Karua.
“We want President Uhuru vote tally to be way ahead of Raila’s so that they, NASA, don’t raise issues of how the vote were rigged,” added Ms. Karua.
Karua is facing stiff competition from former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru who is vying on a Jubilee ticket.
