Narc-Kenya which co-owns a piece of land with PNU claims that the land cannot be sold without prior consultations.

Additionally, Narc-Kenya has also sued PNU demanding that it pays Sh137 million in political parties fund accumulated from 2011.

"The PNU secretary general published a notice calling for governing of council change from September 9, 2016. Its known assets will be assigned to third parties," read the court papers.

According to Narc-Kenya, in the event that the land is sold, the party will incur huge losses since it had heavily invested in it.

NARC Kenya Secretary General Ambrose Nzomo said that PNU has hoarded the money and property at the expense of smaller political parties which were once affiliated to it.

He added that PNU has not made any effort to refund the money as required.
