The children led by Lucy Wanjiru Karume accuse the trustees of mismanaging their father's estate leading to closure of four facilities and sale of some properties at their Kiambaa home.

The family claim that since the time their father died, three years ago, their children have not been in a position to study well as the trustees have not been paying their school fees on time.

“There is some people attempting to bring down this estate and everything that my father owned,” said Wanjiru.

Speaking in Kiambaa on Tuesday Wanjiiru said that since last year some hotels that her father owned has been closed.

Some of the Njenga Karume’s hotel which has been closed are Village-Inn and Pizza Garden.

"We will not seat down and watch people mismanaging our properties,” vowed Wanjiru.
