Kathiani sub-county member of National Assembly assembly Robert Mbui has urged residents to turn out in large numbers to register themselves as voters.
Speaking in his office Feb 15 in Kathiani sub-county headquarters the Mp has said that whatever he has witnessed in several parts of his sub-county is not pleasing at all.
"It's unfortunate that very few people have registered themselves as voters. So far only 40 people from Kathiani ward, 51 from Mitaboni ward, 47 from Kaewa sub-locations having registered themselves, a clear indication that Kambas don't like registering themselves as voters," said Mbui.
He urged all people in the sub-county to turn out in large numbers and register themselves to avoid being locked out.
Mbui added that everyone's vote is a determinant of electing the right leader come 2017.
