Kathiani Mp Robert Mbui was commissioned to open Kwa Ngolya newly constructed school in Upper Kaewa ward in the sub-county on March 19, 2016.
The school structures had become old, exposing the children to an unconducive environment for learning.
Mbui intervened and donated funds to reconstruct and renovate the school at the beginning of this year.
Speaking during handing over the school the Mp said that his joy the Kathiani representative in the national assembly is to see pupils learn in favorable conditions.
"After I was notified about the bad condition of Kwa Ngolya primary school on January 2016, I donated funds and promised the work would be done by March 18 and it's, therefore, my joy to commission the school on time," said Mbui.
Apart from renovating the school, the Mp also added two new classrooms. He said that all the work was completed, courtesy of CDF.
