(Photo/Cyprian Muthoka)Katine queens football team that won the new year Tala cup has received a trophy and a cash award from Tala Member of County Assembly Alex Kamitu.The team had humbled Tutu starlets 3-0 in the final match that was played on the new year's eve at Katine grounds.This was the second time the team clinched this trophy since the inception of the cup in 2013.Katine Queen's team under the tutelage of Frederick Muoki has been dominant in the Tala cup as it aims at clinching more trophies.The team will resume its training in April bearing in mind that almost half of the players are students schooling in different secondary schools.According to the teams' tutor Frederick Muoki, the team will recruit new players in the April holiday in a move geared to bolstering the squad.
