KCB Football Club (KCB FC) has restructured its technical bench from top hiring a new head coach-John Kamau, who has in the past, held various coaching roles in Kenya national teams and a range of clubs. Coach Kamau is depended on to bring back the club to the top flight Kenyan Premier League in 2018/19 season.
The outfit sought the tactics and experiences of the Harambe Stars U-20 coach to help as the bridge for the club which is struggling to reposition itself at the Kenyan Premier League in 2018.
The 40-year-old will head a pool of tacticians who includes the retained Assistant Coach Elvis Ayany, former Talanta FC staff Moses Irungu, who has been selected to be the 1st 1st assistant coach, and the trainer Michael Oyando.
The entire technical bench is comprised of the team manager Bramwell Simiyu and his assistant Joseph Okal and Collins Odhiambo who acts as the goalkeeper trainer.
Speaking during the announcement of the new coach’s contract, the KCB Group Marketing and Communications Director Angela Mwirigi said that the KCB Group is investing in every available resource to see to it that its outfit goes back to the Kenya Premier League
“We are keen on supporting the team to get back to the Premier League in our resolve to continually invest in sports,” said Mwirigi.
