Potential property owners now have a chance to access well planned, strategic developments sites with arranged affordable financing options, following the launch of a one-stop center by KCB Bank Kenya.

The Bank said on Wednesday that the center is a platform where developers can showcase their property for customers interested in purchasing property.

The platform will share updated information on the sites available for sale to complement the KCB’s regular Property Tours and information will also be available on a digital format and customers can take a virtual 360 degrees tour of a specific property; all the rooms, amenities, and surroundings, which they are interested in purchasing.

While launching the center, located on the Ground floor of Kencom House, KCB Bank’s headquarters, KCB Group Chief Operating Officer Samuel Makome said, “We are redefining the property ownership by providing customers with a simpler and more efficient banking experience and providing them with a wide range of options and financing.”

“We are continually making deliberate investments to make property ownership a reality for people across the economic divide,” said Mr Makome.

The Center will bring together property developers, real estate agents, suppliers in the housing and construction business, effectively making the property ownership process easier for customers. It will have a listing for a wide range of property on sale.

The launch of the Center further cements KCB’s continued investment in the housing market, as it continue to offer mortgages at affordable rates which are repayable over a long period of time of between 15 to 25 years.

In addition, KCB provides competitive scheme loans to corporate to enable them offer affordable homes to their employees.

Through new partnerships, KCB has also been able to get concessionary rates for home builders through East Africa Cables who will provide up to 20% discount on cables for developers, Chloride Exide who have promised to deliver up to 25% discount on solar water heating systems, and free installation.

Crown Paints is offering 35% on cuts on paints prices for home refurbishments. KCB Bank is the leading mortgage provider for house ownership solutions in Kenya with a 29% market share.

“Over the years, we realized the mortgaging space has only grown more competitive by the minute and thus KCB and selected partners have come together to enhance each other’s product propositions in order to benefit prospective home owners in their journey towards easy, affordable and comfortable home ownership, ” said Mr Makome.
