Top performers in last year's KCPE at Kapseret Sub-County in Uasin Gishu County have been awarded by the Kenya Ambassador to Sudan Prof Julius Bitok.
The pupils were rewarded with various items ranging from shoes, mattresses and other school-related items as they warm up to joining Form One starting next month.
Bitok asked the pupils to remain focused and continue working hard to put the county on the national map.
"We as leaders are ready to continue motivating you so that you can bring pride to our county. Once you go to high school, maintain discipline and work hard," said Bitok.
Bitok who was speaking at Aturei Primary School where the occasion was held expressed his joy with the pupils' good performance.
"Your outstanding performance could not go unnoticed and that is why we are here today to send a message to the other pupils to learn from you," said the envoy.
The ambassador also donated cash to the school to improve its infrastructure.
